The Rental Shop Technician is a full-time position, responsible for assisting the Regional Operations Manager with getting equipment where it is supposed to be, when it is supposed to be there. This is a hands on, detail oriented job where organizational skills are a must.
Reports to: Regional Operations Manager
Duties and Responsibilities:
Ensure accurate and timely shipping and receiving of all rental/production orders and sub-rental equipment, including occasionally doing deliveries/pick-ups.
Help maintain all rental assets
Maintain lamp and other shop expendables inventory
Assist training clients on equipment when required
Assist Regional Operations Manager and shop crew in maintaining a neat, orderly and safe working environment.
Occasionally assist in production work in the evenings and weekends.
Help load/unload trucks
All other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent
General knowledge of theatrical and entertainment products and services
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Experience with rental management software (IntelliEvent preferred)
Good customer service skills
A valid driver’s license and good driving record are required
Must possess, or be physically fit to obtain, a Medical Certificate required to drive commercial motor vehicles
